About Aalo

Aalo, headquarter of the West Siang district of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. This festival is celebrated with a view to promote tourism, indigenous culture, and tradition, handloom & handicrafts and showcase its rich cultural heritage. The majority of Aalo's population consists of Galo people and Galo is the main language. The major religion is Donyi-Polo, Along with surrounding region cater to both adrenaline junkies and peace-seekers alike. On one hand, activities like trekking and river rafting, Camping are quite popular here. The surrounding terrain of rocky river banks and jungle cutting through the valley makes for excellent hikes.

Kasu Village

Darka is a scenic and the biggest village in the West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh.Darka is quite a beautiful place to see in Arunachal Pradesh. Flanked by a dense forest, the village is inhabited by the people of Galo Tribe who are known for their agriculture festival of Mopin. A village walk is an ideal way to explore this place. By Road:
