By Air: The nearest airport to Daporijo is Lilabari Airport, also Dibrugarh Airport which is approximately 260 kilometers away from the town. From Lilabari, or if you are landing in Dibrugarh, taxis are easily available to reach Daporijo. Dibrugarh Airport, 286 kilometers from Daporijo, can be considered as an option too. By Road: From Dibrugarh, Itanagar, Ziro, and Lilabari, buses and private cabs are easily available to reach Daporijo. Avoid taking Government buses as they are way too overcrowded. You can consider taking private taxis. By Rail: The nearest railway station to Daporijo is Dibrugarh town railway station which is 87 km away. Silapathar Station in Assam, which is 200 kilometers from the main town can be considered as an option too
About Daporijo
Daporijo situated 600 meters above sea level in the upper Subansiri district of the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. Daporijo is typically a good town for understanding local people's culture and tradition experience the local lifestyle, their cuisines also get a chance to see their the art of many handcrafts by the use of bamboo and handlooms.
