Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 | Guwahati Airport to Shergaon (200 Km/7Hrs)

  • Journey to Shergaon: Begin your trip with a pick-up and drive towards Shergaon, stopping en route to visit Bhairabkunda in Assam.

  • Cultural Stop: Pass through Tenzin Gaon and spend some time exploring the serene Zengbu Gompa

  • Explore Shergaon: Upon arrival, explore Shergaon’s charming Apple Orchards and enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

  • Overnight Stay: Relax and unwind with an overnight stay in Shergaon.

  • NOTE -Assuming you will reach Guwahati Airport before 8 AM

 

Day 2 | Shergaon to Shangti Valley Via Bomdila Day 2 (90 Km/3Hrs)

  • Morning Journey: After breakfast, depart from Shergaon and head towards Bomdila.

  • Monastery Visits: Explore the serene Bomdila Monastery before continuing to Dirang to visit the picturesque Dirang Monastery.

  • Shangti Valley Experience: Take a scenic river walk and enjoy a tranquil hike amidst the untouched beauty of Shangti Valley.

  • Sheep Farm Exploration: Visit the Sheep Farm in Shangti Valley for a glimpse into the local lifestyle and agricultural practices.

 

Day 3 | Shangti Valley to Tawang Day 3 (90 Km/3Hrs)

  • Morning Departure: After breakfast, begin your journey toward Tawang, with a short halt at Baisakhi to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

  • Scenic Highlights: Visit the breathtaking Sela Pass and Sela Lake, capturing the beauty of this high-altitude region.

  • Historical Stop: Explore the Jaswantgarh War Memorial, honoring the bravery of soldiers.

  • Nature's Beauty: Experience the stunning Jang Waterfalls before reaching Tawang for an overnight stay

 

Day 4 | Tawang Sightseeing

  • Morning Exploration: After breakfast, begin exploring Tawang, including Buddhist Monastery and other places around.

  • Optional Sightseeing 1: Head towards Y Junction and Bumla Pass, if road conditions permit, visit Bumla at the Indo-China border for a unique experience (Approx per day cost: INR 5,500/taxi for Bumla Pass). (Only Local Taxi can go)

  • Optional Sightseeing 2: Additional sightseeing options include Zimithang (INR 8,500/taxi) and Chumi Gyatse Falls (INR 12,000/taxi). (Only Local Taxi can go)

  • Evening Relaxation: After a day of sightseeing, return to the hotel to unwind and relax.

  • NOTE: Cost for local taxi's are not included in this itinary, we will arrange everything but you have to pay them in Cash

 

Day 5 | Tawang to Dirang Day ( 140 KM/ 5 Hrs)

  • Journey to Dirang: After breakfast, begin the drive to Dirang, stopping en route to admire the stunning Jung Falls.

  • Arrival and Check-In: Upon reaching Dirang, check in to the hotel and relax before starting local sightseeing.

  • Explore Dirang: Visit regional attractions such as the kiwi farms, Dzong (fort), hot water springs, Mandala Top, or Sangti Valley, depending on the time available.

  • Overnight Stay: End the day with an overnight stay at a hotel in the picturesque Dirang Valley, located at an altitude of 4,700 ft

 

Day 6 | Dirang to Guwahati ( 350 Km/ 8 Hrs)

  • Start Early Morning: Begin your journey from Dirang around 6-7 AM to maximize daylight for a safe and scenic drive.

  • Follow the Route: Take NH13 via Bomdila, Bhalukpong, and Tezpur, transitioning to NH27 toward Guwahati.

  • Breaks Along the Way: Stop for refreshments at Bomdila or Bhalukpong and have lunch at Tezpur for a relaxed journey.

  • Reach Guwahati by Evening: Arrive in Guwahati by 5-6 PM, Trip End.

Cost Exclusion
  • All personal expenses, meals/foods which are not mentioned in meal plan, and anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions.

  • If the itinerary includes Tawang, taxi fare for visit to places in the outskirts like Bum La Pass (Indo-China border) with permit, Madhuri Lake sightseeing, Zimithang, and Chumi Gyatse falls is not included. Mandatory local taxis are required. (Approx per day cost: INR 5,500/taxi for Bum La pass, INR 8,500/taxi for Zimithang, INR 12,000/taxi for Chumi Gyatse falls).

  • If the itinerary includes visit to Shillong, local taxi required to visit Shillong Peak is not included. Mandatory local taxis are required.

  • Entry fees to the sightseeing spots, camera fees, and cost of all other optional activities (subjected to choice of package) like Rafting, Boating, Trekking, zip-lining and similar activities, Brahmaputra River cruise, Rope way ride etc. are not included in the package.
