Discover the remote Himalayan landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh on this immersive Tawang tour package covering Shergaon, Jang Valley, Mago, Chuna, Gongkar La, Tawang, Bum La, Madhuri Lake, Zemithang and Sangti Valley. The journey begins from Itanagar and takes you through the picturesque landscapes of Shergaon and Jang Valley before heading towards the remote Mago–Chuna region and Gongkar La Lake. Continue to Tawang for its iconic monastery, war memorial and mountain landscapes, followed by an excursion to Bum La, P.T. Tso, Nagula Lake and Madhuri Lake.
The route then takes you to Zemithang, known for its peaceful valley landscapes and Gorsam Stupa, before concluding through the beautiful Sangti Valley and returning to Itanagar.

Day-wise Itinerary

- Distance: Approximately 200 KM
- Travel Time: Approximately 7 Hours
- Begin your Tawang–Mago tour from Itanagar with a scenic drive towards the peaceful mountain village of Shergaon. Spend some time exploring the serene Zengbu Gompa, followed by a drive through the picturesque landscapes surrounding Shergaon.

- Route: Shergaon → Bomdila Monastery → Sela Pass → Jang Valley
- After breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Shergaon and begin your scenic journey towards Jang Valley. The route takes you through the beautiful high-altitude landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh.
- En route, visit the peaceful Bomdila Monastery and continue towards the spectacular Sela Pass, one of the highlights of the journey. Enjoy the changing Himalayan landscapes and mountain views as you make your way towards Jang.
- Upon arrival in Jang Valley, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

- Route: Jang Valley → Mago → Chuna → Gongkar La Lake → Jang Valley
- After breakfast, set out from Jang Valley for an adventurous expedition to Mago, Chuna and Gongkar La Lake, located in the remote high-altitude region near the Indo-China border.
- A local vehicle is mandatory for this route. Travel through dramatic high-altitude landscapes, river valleys and remote border villages as you explore this lesser-explored part of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh.
- Spend time exploring Gongkar La Lake and its surrounding viewpoints, taking in the raw and remote beauty of the region. After the expedition, return to Jang Valley by evening and relax at your hotel.
- Important: The local taxi cost for the Mago–Chuna–Gongkar La Lake route is not included in the package. The vehicle will be arranged by Northeast Advisor, but the approximate cost of ₹7,000–₹10,000 is payable by guests in cash, not included in package cost.

- Travel Time: Approximately 1 Hour
- Route: Jang Valley → Nuranang Falls → Tawang
- After breakfast, begin your journey from Jang Valley to Tawang. The short but scenic drive takes you through the beautiful Himalayan landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh.
- En route, visit the spectacular Nuranang Falls (Jang Falls), one of the scenic highlights of the region. Continue towards Tawang while enjoying the surrounding mountain views.
- On arrival in Tawang, visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery and explore the local market. Later, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

- Tawang → P.T. Tso → Nagula Lake → Bum La Pass
- Visit Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Tso) and proceed towards Zemithang.

Booking & Payment
- The booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
- The remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins.
- An advance payment of ₹5,000 per person is required to confirm the booking.
Cancellation Policy

- No refund will be provided for no-shows or unused services.
